The seventeenth edition of DCD>Connect Madrid has closed with figures that consolidate it as the reference event for the Data Center industry in southern Europe. With an attendance of more than 1,400 people and a record investment of 9.75 billion euros, the meeting has exceeded all expectations.
International Growth and Participation
Held on May 21 and 22, DCD>Connect Madrid 2024 has brought together companies and investment funds representing 117 data center projects in 14 countries, adding a total power of 1,595 MW. Participation has been global, with attendees from 40 countries, which reinforces the international nature of the meeting.
This year, the event agenda has included more than 70 panels, conferences, workshops and debate tables, addressing crucial topics such as sustainability in the sector, the rise of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and growing investment in the industry, both in Spain as in Europe.
Innovative Investment Forum
One of the most notable novelties of this edition has also been the 'Investment Forum', the first global forum for investors in data centers. This space has brought together more than 190 attendees from eleven countries, facilitating dialogue between investment funds, financial directors of data centers and participating public institutions.
In this edition, DCD>Connect Madrid 2024 has reaffirmed its role in the global digital economy, inviting professionals and companies in the Data Center sector to a new edition on May 20 and 21, 2025.
