At IBC 2024, LiveU introduced its innovative connectivity solution, LiveU IQ, which combines mobile connection, IP connection, and Artificial Intelligence to enhance live video transmission and boost connectivity, resilience, and IP video transport performance.
LiveU IQ leverages AI and large dataset analysis to dynamically optimize mobile connections, selecting the best available options in real-time for each location. Unlike other solutions on the market, which are often limited to a fixed set of mobile carriers, LiveU IQ can automatically switch between networks to ensure the best possible performance, even in rural areas or congested networks.
LiveU IQ's architecture consists of three key elements: LiveU’s universal eSIMs, compatible with any carrier network, a cloud-based decision engine that works with Big Data from network performance logs, and LiveU Analytics, which displays users the dynamic switching events and how session performance improves.
